Strategic support for individuals and organizations to lead from the inside out.

Navigate uncertainty through nervous system mastery and embodied leadership

How Soulfull Strategies Was Born

I spent a decade as a consultant for social impact organizations evaluating programs and providing strategic recommendations to clients, but I felt that the work could be more impactful and more heartful, and it wasn’t fully completing my heart. More than that, what makes change stick is not the reports we shelve or the numbers we send to the powers that be, it is the relationships we build and what moves us as people. We need both strategies and soul so that the insides reflect our outsides - for us as individuals and collectively as organizations. And we need our souls to be “full” to do that.

And thus, Soulfull Strategies was born. We not only need strategies, we also need to have heart in what we do.

Whether you’re an executive who is successful on the outside but in disarray inside, a creative who has lost their “spark,” or a social impact leader navigating extreme uncertainty, I believe everyone can move through the uncertainty of life and business by unlocking their inner power and leading in new ways.

So here is my commitment to you:

Support for all stages of the process.

Clients need more continuity than a report with recommendations - they need a strategic partner who can bring their best at all stages of the process, from initial concept through implementation.

Services with a relationship-first approach.

What makes organizations impactful and gets them walking their talk is hands-down the quality of the relationships we build. Data is important, but people are too.

A strategic partner that changes with you.

Organizations face complex and ever-changing environments. Needs change. And so should your strategic partner. I can provide a range and blend of services, including executive coaching, consulting, facilitation, and design support for retreats and other team activities.

About Me

I am a leadership coach, experienced yoga instructor, and a strategic partner to leaders who seek clarity in a world of chaos and uncertainty.

Here’s something I have noticed: most leaders don’t have mastery over their own bodies and emotions, and that gets in the way of creating great organizations with impactful results. It’s been a theme in my career, and I’m passionate about helping leaders lead from the inside out so that they can have ripple effects for their teams and clients.

I serve bold people working to solve big, meaningful problems through conscious, embodied leadership and nervous system mastery. My clients increase their impact, summon their courage to make big changes, and move to the beat of their collective wisdom.

I am a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a trained mental health coach, an advanced certified yoga teacher, and experienced advisor to mission-driven leaders and organizations. With a BA from UC Berkeley and MPP from USC, I have a combined 20 years of experience as an organizational strategy and impact consultant, trusted leadership advisor, and entrepreneur.

I've been privileged to work with many kinds of people and organizations in my career as a nonprofit consultant, a leadership advisor, a mental health coach, a yoga teacher, and a group facilitator. I've worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life spanning from employees working the floor at Walmart and community organizers in small nonprofits to senior leaders in powerful philanthropic institutions and big corporations. What I love about these experiences is that they have shown me that regardless of sector, organizational size, or mission - similar themes come up among humans: inner conflict, lack of confidence, workplace conflict, overwork, and unhealed baggage.

But what separates the clients I love to work with from others is that they share a willingness and drive for deep transformation and often parallel my own experience as a working professional and leader of my own life.

When I was young girl, I was both opinionated and vocal (especially with my older brother), and shy and quiet (sometimes feeling caught in-between two groups of friends or wanting to be liked). I could put on a show and be “out there” even if I was shy, so I taught myself how to have presence. I made a distinct decision to step out of my comfort zone at 13. When I was 17, I chose to go to Berkeley rather than the safer choice of staying in familiar Southern California. When I was 18, I talked my way into a journalism internship and spent my summer working for Shape magazine. When I was 25, I went to Thailand to work internationally and travel. When I was 34, I put myself into the dating world shortly after my husband left me. When I was 35, I left a stable job in pursuit of aligning to my soul’s work. I went from a shy, rule follower to a confident, embodied, risk-taking leader. Now I help other women follow that path.

But you shouldn't work with me if you're not willing to tell a different story about yourself. You shouldn't work with me if you aren't willing to get in touch with your body and ground yourself in every session we have. You shouldn't work with me if you can't laugh at the way life unfolds in absurd ways. And you shouldn't work with me if you aren't willing to hear hard truths (ones that you likely already know yourself).

The leaders that I love to work with are lifelong learners. They are in it not only to "get better" but to stay in the game even when things get tough, and even when it seems like life is "just fine." The leaders that come out of our work together are transformational because they know the deep work is ever evolving, and sometimes being the smartest person in the room also means being the loneliest person in the room. Leaders seek me to be their check, to call them out, to continue moving from good to great to exceptional and back again as life accelerates (and sometimes puts brakes on) their dreams. They are the leaders who are visionary changemakers, who desire so strongly a better world that they are willing to break the rules of traditional leadership to make change.

Those are the people that inspire me. If that's not you, I'm not your gal (and that's ok!). But if you're into a quirky yoga teacher who nerds out about leadership and its ripple effects in society; if you're into a woman who has forged her own path out of a very dark space; if you're into someone who has a love of nature, animals, the performing arts, and is the last one at the table to finish her meal because she's enjoying all of her senses; and if you're into an advisor who will tap into your bodily intuition and take you on meaningful in-person experiences - I'm the person meant to be the champion in your corner.

What makes working with me different?

  1. I pair direct, clear challenge with radical self-compassion: you’ll be held and called out in equal measure.

  2. My work is practice-based: you’ll leave with small, daily embodied rituals that stack into real change.

  3. I teach slowing down as a leadership superpower, not a luxury: because strategy without presence collapses.
